About
Welcome to Tempura Ebinoya Namba Walk, a hidden gem nestled in the bustling heart of Osaka, Japan. Located within the vibrant Namba Walk underground subway, this tempura specialty restaurant invites both locals and tourists to indulge in a delightful culinary experience. As a food reviewer for Foodjoyy, I'm excited to share my impressions of this eatery, where fresh and crispy tempura takes center stage.
At Tempura Ebinoya, diners can savor a variety of tempura options, from succulent prawns to a medley of vegetables and fish. Each dish is prepared fresh to order, ensuring that every bite is aromatic and flavorful. One of the standout offerings is the tendon, served with a rich, savory sauce that perfectly complements the crispy tempura. The generous portions promise satisfaction without breaking the bank, making it an excellent choice for hungry patrons.
The restaurant’s ambiance is surprisingly spacious for Japanese standards, allowing for a comfortable dining experience. The friendly staff adds warmth to your visit, welcoming guests with open arms, and an English menu makes ordering a breeze for international visitors. However, keep in mind that this cash-only establishment prioritizes speed and efficiency, creating a dining atmosphere perfect for those on-the-go.
During my visit, I was particularly impressed by the quality of the tempura. Each piece was golden and crunchy, embodying the essence of good tempura. While some customers have noted that the prawn tempura can be dry at times, the remaining selections offer a delightful variety that keeps taste buds dancing. Many patrons, including customer Mayo Malee, highlight the bonus of unlimited mentaiko, enhancing the flavor profile of each dish.
In conclusion, Tempura Ebinoya Namba Walk is a worthy stop for a satisfying meal—especially for tempura lovers. With a simple, efficient menu and a focus on quality, it’s a refuge for those seeking a comforting cuisine experience in Osaka. So whether you’re a local or a traveler, make sure to pop into this quaint establishment for a bite of their perfectly fried delicacies.

“ This resto selling pretty good tempura. The portion size is very good size as you won’t feel it’s too much and it’s not too small either. It’s just nice portion. The prawn tempura is a bit dry. But the rest of tempuras are nicely cooked. ”
“ I love food here especially tempura set with mentaigo! I ate them every few days in a different branches. For this one, pretty easy! You just need to buy a ticket from machine and give it to staff. Take a seat then wait for food! The location is convenient, located at Namba Walk which it closes to the underground entrance. Down side is cigarette as next door they always smoke which I am allergic to smoke. You can scent it very strongly if you sit around the entrance. ”
